Mailing List Members
What is a mailing list member? How can you turn into one yourself?
Internet mailing list members are individuals that get mass email messages, such as weekly/monthly newsletters. Depending on the mailing list client that is used to manage a certain mailing list, they may have subscribed personally, giving their consent to be included in the mailing list, or they may have been added manually. The latter means that they will pratictically receive unsolicited messages. Ordinarily, mailing list members can be managed by the mailing list administrator who can authorize or delete them, or they can manually unsubscribe in case they do not want to receive emails from now on. All subscribers will always receive one and the same message provided that they are part of the same mailing list, but a single subscriber will never be able to view the remaining mailing list members in the "To" section of the email.
Mailing List Members in Website Hosting
The fully featured Majordomo mailing list manager that comes with our website hosting plans will grant you total command over the members of any mailing list that you create through the Hepsia hosting Control Panel. You’ll be able to include or delete mailing list members by sending a message to majordomo@your-domain.com, so you can achieve this from any place without even needing to sign into the Control Panel. If you import a member manually, they will get a confirmation request that they need to accept in order to subscribe to the mailing list. If they do this, they’ll get an email message with the list’s rules and features. You’ll also be able to view a complete list of all your subscribers and to keep track of who is getting your newsletters or any other type of regular e-correspondence.
